When submitting documents for Proof of Source of Funds (SOF) or Source of Wealth (SOW) verification, it’s important to ensure they meet our compliance requirements. Below are the most common reasons why income verification documents may be rejected:
1) Screenshots are not accepted
Please avoid submitting screenshots or photos of a computer or phone screen showing your document. We can only accept:
- PDF files of digital statements, or
- Clear photos of the original paper documents.
2) The document does not show income or source of wealth
The bank statement or supporting document must clearly display your income deposits (e.g., salary, pension, or other sources of funds). The transaction descriptions should indicate the deposit type — for example, “payroll,” “pension plan,” or similar.
3) The document is outdated or missing an issue date
To ensure accuracy, we can only accept documents issued within the last 3 months. Any document without an issue or statement date will not be accepted.
- If you are submitting tax return files, please make sure they are from the most
Ensuring your documents meet these requirements will help speed up the verification process and prevent delays in accessing Paymonade’s services.
