When submitting documents for Proof of Address (POA) verification, it’s important to ensure they meet our compliance standards. Here are the most common reasons why address verification documents may be rejected:
1) Name on the document does not match the account
Only documents with your own name will be accepted. Documents belonging to a spouse, family member, or someone else will be rejected.
2) Screenshots are not accepted
We cannot accept screenshots or photos of a computer or phone screen. Please submit either:
- PDF files of digital statements, or
- Clear photos of the original paper documents.
3) Address does not match the account
The document must show the same address registered in your Paymonade account. This should be the address you provided when placing your first order.
4) Document is outdated or missing an issue date
We can only accept documents issued within the last 3 months. Documents without an issue or statement date will be rejected.
5) Unsupported document types
We cannot accept medical bills, cellphone bills, purchase receipts, or other similar invoices.
Accepted documents include:
- Utility bills
- Bank or credit card statements
- Tax invoices (dated within the last 3 months)
- Government-issued residential statements or certificates
6) Document is folded or partially obscured
All four corners of the document must be visible and unobstructed in the image.
Following these guidelines ensures a smoother verification process and helps prevent delays in accessing Paymonade’s services.
