1) Why is Paymonade closing?
Currently we have to stop our service in the EEA until our MiCAR authorization has been granted. As soon as it is available you will be able to use our service again.
2) Is Paymonade insolvent?
No.
The necessary measures are a temporary regulatory and operational process. Customer support, compliance functions, reconciliation controls and settlement processes are and will remain operational.
3) Can I still buy or sell crypto after 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET)?
Not for the time being. All crypto-fiat on/off ramp services will temporarily cease on 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET).
4) Can I still access my account?
You may continue to access historical information where available but transactional functionality will be disabled on 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET).
5) What happens if I send EUR to my Paymonade IBAN after 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET)?
The payment may be:
- rejected
- returned to the originating account
- manually reviewed before processing of return
Return processing times may be longer than usual.
6) What happens to transactions already submitted before 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET)?
Damoon will seek to complete settlement of transactions initiated before 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET) in a fair and orderly manner.
7) Does Paymonade hold my crypto?
No.
Damoon operates a non-custodial model and does not safeguard customer crypto-assets. Customers retain control of their own wallets and assets.
8) What happens to my personal data?
Damoon will continue to retain records as required by applicable legal and regulatory obligations and in a safe and secure manner.
9) Can I make a complaint?
Yes.

Damoon will continue handling and addressing complaints after 30 June 2026, 23:59:59 (CET).
10) Will Paymonade reopen in the future?
At present, future availability of MiCAR-regulated services by Paymonade should be assumed.
To avoid creating misleading expectations regarding future service continuity, customers should rely only on officially published communications from Damoon.
